A measuring train monitors the current state of the railway network. To ensure that all the electrical systems required for this can function properly, a generator set is present. We replaced the measuring train’s old generator set with a new one.
For this project, we installed a 40 kVA generator set with a Yanmar engine and a Mecc Alte generator. The generator set is controlled from the cab of the measuring train. This is done with a Deep Sea 7310 module. This way, the customer can rely on a reliable power supply on board the measuring train.
