Nice to keep sponsoring our passion!

What once started in the 1980s with the purchase of a small 1-cylinder Lister diesel engine in a shed in Peter Reichwein's backyard has grown into an impressive collection of enormous size.

Currently, the SHVP's collection consists of 42 working engines and engines under construction. These engines are kept in condition by a small group of volunteers - all with a passion for technology.

The SHVP's main objective is to preserve a very special technical historical heritage in the Netherlands. The Netherlands and Germany have a rich history of factories/brands that have produced diesel engines for both stationary and propulsion purposes in the period from 1905 to the present.

With our origins and passion for engines, we sponsor the Stichting Historische Verbrandingsmotoren Papendrecht (SHVP) to contribute to the preservation of these historic internal combustion engines.
